Any bid received after the bid submission time deadline will be returned unopened. Question due date December 1, 2023 ASE SHEET & BASE SHEET FASTENERS FOR NAILABLE ROOF DECK (TECTUM) A. Base Sheet Membrane: ASTM D4601, Type II glass fiber base sheet 1. (Basis of Design) GAF-GLAS #75 or Perma-ply 28 glass fiber base sheet shall be mechanically fastened to the lightweight concrete/gypsum roof decks with OMG Roofing Products' 1.8 OlyLok base sheet fastener as required per field pullout tests. At a minimum, the base sheet and all fasteners shall be installed per this specification, and manufacturer's recommendations, whichever is more stringent, to resist uplift pressures as calculated in accordance with ASCE 7-16 and listed above under Section 2.1, and contractor confirmed field tested pullout values. 2. Approved equal in accordance with specification section 01 60 00 "Product Requirements" 2.13 INSULATION FASTENERS FOR WOOD AND METAL DECKS A. Fasteners: Factory-coated steel fasteners and metal plates complying with corrosion-resistance provisions in FM Approvals 4470, designed for fastening substrate board to roof deck. 1. OMG Standard roof insulation screw fastener with corrosion resistant coating as recommended by roof membrane manufacturer. 2. Approved fasteners with three (3) inch coated disc to meet or exceed the specific project wind uplift requirements listed in Section 2.1 "Design and Performance Criteria" of Division 7 Section "SBS Bituminous Membrane Roofing". Length as required to penetrate roof deck per the screw manufacturers recommendation or one (1) inch if not listed. 2.14 INSULATION ADHESIVE A. Insulation Adhesive: Insulation manufacturer's recommended adhesive formulated to attach roof insulation to base sheet mechanically attached to tectum deck or to another insulation layer as follows: i. ASTM D312, Type IV Special Steep Asphalt.
