Reference Number 0000335709 The project Work is located within the limits of the Meridian Metropolitan District of Colorado. The general area of the project work is bound from Lift Station A, which is located directly west of Cottonwood Creek and east of Jamaica Street, and extending half a mile east, south of E470, and north of Meridian Boulevard. The Work generally encompasses construction of approximately 1,737 lineal feet of new force main and 668 lineal feet of new gravity main. -The Work also includes all site preparation and erosion control, earthwork, dewatering, sanitary sewer bypassing, parking lot restoration, revegetation, and restoration of all existing facilities and surface improvements to pre-construction conditions. Also included is the survey and staking as required for construction, and all miscellaneous work as shown and specified for a complete installation. It is anticipated that some portions of the sewer improvements will be constructed in wet or high groundwater areas. Construction in wet areas will require dewatering. Some areas may require stabilization per these specifications. Actual conditions of surface improvements around this work may differ from what is shown on the Drawings. It is the Contractor's responsibility to verify actual field conditions. It is strongly recommended that the Contractor investigate the site of the work sufficiently to satisfy themselves of the extent and conditions of the project. - Bid Package 1 - Force Main The existing force main is to be replaced including the following components: 1) Installation of approximately 1,737 linear feet of 12" PVC force main sewer including an open cut crossing of Cottonwood Creek and a connection to an existing manhole structure. Work includes connections to existing force main and to force main terminal manhole. Construction of a valve vault to facilitate the future connection to the replacement Installation of 1,737 lineal feet of 2" HDPE fiber optic conduits. Bid Package 2 - Gravity Main The gravity main installation includes the following components Installation of approximately 320 lineal feet of 10" PVC gravity main including an open cut crossing of Cottonwood Creek. Installation of approximately 668 lineal feet of 8" PVC gravity main. Installation of 3 precast concrete manholes and connection to an existing manhole.
