Project involves installation of 3 sanitary sewage sump crock & grinder pumps, 2-inch pressure pipe lateral extending through the existing 4- inch lateral, & basement floor restoration. This Work is funded in whole or in part by the Milwaukee Metropolitan Sewerage District's Private Property Infiltration and Inflow Program. Awarded Contractor must be an MMSD approved Contractor. All Work is included in a single prime contract. A Bidder's qualification statement must be delivered to Village of Thiensville at least 5 days before the Bid opening. Bids shall be accompanied by a Bond or Certified Check payable to Village of Thiensville equal to 5 percent of the Bid. If the successful Bidder fails to execute the Contract and furnish payment and performance bonds within 15 days after the award, the Check or Bid Bond may be forfeited to Village of Thiensville as liquidated damages. Construction time is of the essence. Completion delays are subject to liquidated damages. The Village of Thiensville reserves the right to accept the most advantageous Bid, or to reject any and all Bids All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing.
