**As of January 8 ,2024, this project has not yet been awarded.The BOC will vote on awarding the contract at their meeting this Thursday the 11th.** Hall County, Georgia Board of Commissioners is seeking qualified vendors to provide services to remove and construct baseball field fencing at Laurel Park (herein "Services"). The County seeks to award one (1) vendor to perform all the services. The immediate need is focused on the 4 baseball/softball fields located within the park that are need of fencing upgrades before the spring youth league begins. The existing fencing has been damaged and worn over time. The fencing around the transformer located at the fields would need to be replaced as well. In addition to replacing fencing, we need to have eight (8) dugout structures constructed. Demolition of two (2) 300' baseball field fences and two (2) 200' baseball field fences (approximately 4,000 ft.). Using the same layout, install new fencing with black vinyl coated 6ga chain link on black posts and railing for fencing and backstops. There would be an option to paint existing posts and railings without replacing. Construction of eight (8) 12x20 dugouts, two (2) for each field. These would need to be 10' tall, on 4' posts, and on 4" 3000-PSI concrete pads. The roof would be 26ga corrugated metal roofing on 2x6 metal beams with 2' steel strips. The side fencing would be 6ga vinyl chain link. Replace/rewire eight (8) double gates (2 per field) with black 6ga vinyl chain link. Replace/rewire eight (8) single entrance gates (2 per field) with black 6ga vinyl chain link. Demolition and construction of fence surrounding the transformer located at the fields. The existing fence is roughly 10x10, 6' tall, with a 6' gate.
