As of December 13, 2023, bids were received for DWU CIZ-DWU-23 149 on December 8th. Owner is in the process of reviewing the submittals. Unfortunately, they are not able to release the bid tabs until after Council award which is expected to be in early Spring 2024. The proposed contract includes six (6) different project locations in the City of Dallas. The locations include six (6) storm drainage improvement projects. Three (3) of the storm drainage projects also involve water and wastewater main replacement. The storm drainage improvement projects include installation of mains of varying diameters ranging from a 21-inch to 66-inch reinforced concrete pipe. Water main replacement includes installation of 6-inch to 12-inch diameter polyvinyl chloride pipes. Wastewater main replacement includes installation of 6-inch to 15-inch diameter polyvinyl chloride pipes. Project related questions shall be submitted in Bonfire no later than Friday, December 1, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. It is the goal of the City of Dallas that at least 32 percent of the work performed under each construction contract be performed by minority and women business enterprises.
