The City of Virginia Beach, Virginia will receive sealed bids for the furnishing of all equipment, labor and material, and the performing of all work for the above described project. The work consists on the construction of a 6,250 SF pre-engineered metal building for the Virginia Aquarium Animal Ambassador Center located at 801 General Booth Boulevard in Virginia Beach. The facility will provide sheltering and feeding for small animals and marine life and will be open to the public. The first floor of the building will contain multiple interior spaces and exterior covered areas for accommodating wildlife and will include an entry vestibule, food prep area, an office, IT Room, toilet room and storage room. An open area on the first floor will accommodate movable freestanding animal enclosures. A mezzanine level will be constructed to accommodate mechanical equipment and additional storage.
