The Shelley/Firth Fire District is requesting proposals from qualified consultants for the financial planning, funding development, grant writing, and administration of a new fire station improvement project located in the area of Firth, Idaho. The fire station improvement project is necessary because the fire station located in Firth, Idaho burnt down in January of 2022. A new fire station is a necessary infrastructure required to provide and maintain the health and safety needs of the area residents as well as the growth that has occurred. The Financial/Administration consultant would assist the district and its team in planning, pre-designing, funding, and administration of funds to build the new fire station. The consultants awareness of state and federal funding that is available and the agencies requirements are vital. The fire district anticipates applying for federal and state grant and loans to assistance in funding the project. The fire station project proposal shall not exceed five pages. The proposal may include cover letters and indexes, but those pages will count toward the total page count.
