The work in the contract is generally described as the replacement of the roof on the City of Northfield Municipal Building. There will be no pre-bid conference. Each Proposal submitted shall be accompanied by a Certified Check, Cashier's Check or Bid Bond, in an amount not less than ten (10%) percent of the amount bid for the project, but in no case in excess of $20,000.00, and should be made payable to the City of Northfield with a letter of surety. Bids must be made on the Bid Proposal Form contained in the FORMS section of the Bid Specifications and must be enclosed in a sealed envelope plainly marked "CITY HALL ROOF REPLACEMENT" and bearing the name and address of the Bidder clearly marked on the outside Pursuant to N.J.S.A. 34:11-56.25 et seq., Contractor shall adhere to all requirements of the New Jersey Prevailing Wage Act and will be required to submit a certified payroll record to the City of Northfield within ten (10) days of the payment of the wages, and must obtain and submit all subcontractors' certified payroll records within the aforementioned time period. The City of Northfield reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informality in anyvbid, all as permitted or required by law. During the performance of this Contract, the Contractor agrees to comply with the requirementsvof Affirmative Action Regulations, N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27
