The project consists of repairs to and along Gee Hill Town Highway at Repair Sites 28A, 28B, and 29. Repairs are identified by individual sites as provided within included Damage Inventory Log sheets. Work to be performed under this project may vary from site to site and will generally include: site preparation, including removal of loose, woody and deleterious material; replacement of damaged culverts including precast concrete headwalls; machine placement and compaction of riprap, stone-fill, filter base and other granular material; road subbase and base material; final surface preparation of the road surface; and incidental items. Work for Repair Site 28B and 29 is expected to occur immediately upon award. If included in contract, work for Repair Site 28A is anticipated to be performed during 2024 construction season (after July 1, 2024 per ANR and ACOE regulations). Stabilization of roadside areas shall be performed as completed due to working within Winter Construction Season (after October 15). The Contract work for Repair Site 28B and 29 shall be substantially completed on or before January 15, 2024, unless cold, snow, or other weather conditions require a winter shutdown, with OWNER concurrence.
