2023/2024 Tree Removal Project Engineer s Estimate-$146,400.00 A Certified Check or a Bid Bond, Drawn Upon an Acceptable Surety Company, in an Amount of Five Percent (5%) of the Total Bid, Including All Alternates, is to Be Submitted With All Bids, Said Bond, or Certified Check Is to Be Made Unconditionally Payable to the Board of Commissioners of the County of Jefferson, State of Ohio. Pursuant to Ohio Revised Code Section 9.24, it is now mandatory that prior to awarding of contracts for goods, services or construction for Jefferson County, a search must be made on the FINDING FOR RECOVERY DATA-BASE of the Auditor of the State of Ohio, to determine if a prospective successful bidder has a finding against it for non-payment of an obligation to the State or political subdivision thereof. The Board of Commissioners of the County of Jefferson, State of Ohio, reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids and to waive all informalities. The Board of Commissioners of the County of Jefferson, State of Ohio, may reject any or all of the bids on any basis and without disclosure of a reason. The failure to make such a disclosure shall not result in accrual of any right, claim, or cause of action by any unsuccessful bidder against the County of Jefferson.
