The City of Bridgeton, Missouri invites your company to submit a proposal on this RFP Package, titled: "Bridgeton Recreation Center LED Display", as defined hereinafter. All terms and provisions listed in the enclosed: "REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL", "BID INSTRUCTIONS", "PROJECT SPECIFICATIONS" AND "PROPOSAL FORM" are integral parts of the Bid Package. The City of Bridgeton reserves the right to waive informalities in any proposal, to reject any or all proposals in whole or in part, to readvertise, to negotiate segments of any or all proposals and to take any action that it feels is in its best interest. The proposal price for these repairs will include: 1) Purchase price and installation of LED sign at the Bridgeton Recreation Center. 2) Purchase Price and installation of all required carpentry, electrical, etc. It is recommended that bidders view the site prior to submitting bid and take specifications from existing fields. GENERAL The following specifications and dimensions shall apply to the LED Display, meeting or exceeding these minimum specifications. The LED display shall be new and current year model, under standard production by the manufacturer and for which the distributor stocks parts. The bidder agrees, if his proposal is accepted, to guarantee the design, material and workmanship of the equipment bid under standard warranty, and to replace free of charge F.O.B. delivery point any parts which fail to meet this guarantee. The dealer shall furnish a properly executed service and warranty policy with each unit. All equipment, materials, training, software and warranties will be delivered F.O.B. destination. ADHERENCE TO SPECIFICATIONS: Deviations from any of the requirements in these specifications shall be stated on the bid form or attached to said form. Unless so stated by the bidder, the City of Bridgeton shall assume that requirements have been met and shall hold the bidder to each part of the specification. The City reserves the right to waive minor technicalities under these specifications. DELIVERY: The LED display shall be completely serviced in accordance with the manufacturer's specifications. The unit shall be delivered with inspection papers, invoices, regulation warranty papers, and required manuals. In any case, when said equipment is delivered minus any detail, including parts, items or accessories issued as a standard manufacturer's equipment and/or specified by the City, the dealer will be notified immediately and he shall furnish the missing detail within 72 hours, otherwise the City reserves the right to purchase such detail from another source and bill the dealer for the cost, including installation. MANUALS 1) At the time of delivery, the bidder shall furnish one (1) original operation manual, one (1) parts book, and one (1) service/repair manual. All manuals shall be legibly printed. Photocopies will not be acceptable. 2) The City considers the delivery of the manuals of such importance that should they not be delivered with the equipment, the sum of $500 will be retained from payment for the equipment until all manuals are provided as specified.
