A prebid conference for this project will be held. Attendance is not mandatory. "Instructions to Bidders" contains information concerning prebid conference and qualifications of bidders. The Project generally consists of the following: Phase A: Furnish labor, material, and equipment to convert approximately 1/2 mile overhead 15kV 3 Phase distribution line to underground. Install new concrete poles and primary risers to terminate back to existing 15kV overhead 3 Phase. Direction bore and trench new conduit, install flush mount pull boxes/handholes, and padmount medium voltage Vista(R) switchgear. Install conduit duct system to accommodate primary underground, secondary, underground, fiber, AT&T, Comcast, CSpire, Select Connect, and Windstream. AT&T, Comcast, C-Spire, Select Connect, and Windstream work will only consist of the installation of the conduit system. Phase B: Furnish labor and material for the complete installa- tion of new street lighting. Bids will be accepted only under the name of the Bidder to whom contract documents have been issued, and whose name appears on the official list of Planholders maintained by the City of Tupelo. Each bidder must deposit with this bid, security in the amount, form and subject to the conditions provided in the Information for Bidders. No Bidder may withdraw his bid within 45 days after the actual date of the opening thereof. Simultaneously with his delivery of the executed contract, the Contractor shall furnish surety bonds subject to the conditions provided in the Information for Bidders. All applicable laws, ordi- nances and the rules and regulations of all authori- ties having jurisdiction over construction of the project shall apply to the contract throughout. Each Bidder is responsible for inspecting the site and for reading and being thoroughly familiar with the Contract Documents. The failure or omission of any Bidder to do any of the foregoing shall in no way relieve any Bidder from any obligation in respect to this Bid. A conditional or qualified Bid will not be accepted. Award will be made to the lowest responsible, responsive Bidder. The Owner reserves the right to waive any infor- mality or to reject any or all Bids.
