Reference Number 0000333893 Upgrade existing pedestrian signal heads to LED countdown pedestrian signal heads, replacing existing and/or installing new ADA compliant pedestrian push buttons, installations of new pedestrian push button posts, 2" PVC conduit, and cabling as necessary at the intersections listed in Table 1 and as shown on the plans. This project also includes the installation of signs in existing standards as indicated on Table 1. All proposals or bids shall be accompanied by cash or a check payable to the City of Highland, certified by a responsible bank, for an amount which shall not be less than ten percent ( 10%) of the grand total bid or by a bond for the amount over and above all statutory exemptions, or by a bond of an accredited surety company. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a and materials bond and a faithful performance bond in the amount equal to one hundred percent ( 100%) of the contract price, such bonds to be secured by a surety company or surety companies satisfactory to the City Council of the City of Highland.
