The City of Allentown is steadfast in its pursuit of safer roadways and transportation networks. With a deep understanding of the profound impact that a well-structured Safe Streets and Roads for All Action Plan (SS4AAP) can have, the city is embarking on a transformative journey to prioritize safety enhancements and justify essential investments. As a recipient of the esteemed FY23 Safe Streets and Roads for All (SS4A) Action Plan Grant, Allentown is primed to develop an all-encompassing citywide SS4AAP. This plan is not limited to reducing transportation-related fatalities and serious injuries; it is a testament to the city's goal of fostering collaboration with stakeholders, engaging the community, and exploring diverse funding avenues. Submissions must include a scanned copy of the Bid Bond as stated above through Public Purchase in the appropriate drop down. The PROPOSAL PAGE must be completed and submitted through Public Purchase. Other Forms must be completed and uploaded to Public Purchase. Applicable Bid Security must be mailed and delivered prior to the Bid opening, in a clearly marked envelope with the bid number listed in this document, to the Purchasing Department. When you upload a document or save your submission, your response is immediately submitted. However, you are the only one who will have access to your information until the bid closes. This means you can come back any time before the bid closes and edit your response information. Questions regarding electronic submissions are welcome via email through Purchasing.Agent@allentownpa.gov. No faxed or emailed proposals will be accepted. Responses received after the prevailing date and time will be rejected as non-responsive.
