PROJECT DETAILS: Libby Dam Powerhouse Bathroom and Decontamination Shower with Filtration Upgrade This procurement is anticipated to be solicited as a 100% set-aside for Women Owned Small Business. The proposed project will be a competitive, firm-fixed price construction project. The contract is anticipated to be awarded prior to the end of 2023. The Seattle District, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers has a requirement to renovate bathrooms, add a decontamination shower and laundry facility at the Libby Dam Powerhouse project located in Libby, Montana. This project involves the addition of new decontamination shower and laundry facility, addition of a wastewater pump and filtration system, and renovation of five bathrooms within the Libby Dam powerhouse structure. Work includes carpentry, moving walls, modifying plumbing, HVAC, and electrical to accommodate the new layouts. Contractor must supply two (2) portable toilets and two (2) portable hand washing stations to be used by Libby Dam employees while bathrooms are out of service. Toilets and wash stations must be cleaned and serviced a minimum of every 2 weeks. The expected construction duration is 270 calendar days. Project must be complete prior to 30 Sept 2024.
