Martin Lake Shoreline Stabilizations 2023-24 Site Directions: Eight lakeshore construction sites are described in the bid document. Est. Value: $ 145,500.00 Est. Value Notes: Preliminary designer's estimate. Est. Completion Date: June 30, 2024 Shoreline stabilization construction at eight parcels that are not contiguous, totaling approximately 650 linear feet of shoreline. Construction includes grading, excavation, rock rip rap, coconut fiber biologs, erosion control, and vegetated buffers planting. The Concept Designs provided in the initial posting of this bid document will be followed by a bid addendum with full designs and quantities at least 10 days before bid closing. Online bidding will become available at that time. A Means Of Site Access Critical To This Project. Most project sites have no overland access to the lakefront (it is blocked by structures, retaining walls, etc). The contractor must detail their proposed method of site access such as over ice, barge, or other. And, the contractor must have a backup option if work over the ice is the primary means of access. While completing the majority of work over the ice in winter is acceptable, the contractor must return in spring for touch up grading and planting.
