The City of Temple is soliciting sealed bids from qualifying paving companies for the following Subdivision streets: Webster Lake Subdivision, Arbor Landing Subdivision, and Lakeland Park Subdivision. (a) Bid bonds shall be required for all public works construction contracts with estimated bids or proposals over $100,000.00. (b) In lieu of the bid bond, the City of Temple may accept a cashier's check or a certified check in the amount of not less than 5 percent of the total amount payable by the terms of the contract payable to and for the protection of the governmental entity for which the contract is to be awarded. Webster Lake includes the following scope of work. The total linear footage of the FINAL TOPPING is 2,700 linear feet with an average width of 24 feet. There are 2 cul-de-sacs with an average radius of 40 feet. This site can be seen by reviewing plans for this subdivision, q-public, Google Earth, or through on-site observation. Full depth milling is to be done throughout 50% of this site and includes installation of Recycled Asphalt SP 19MM Binder at a minimum of 2 inches in thickness, include the milling in the cost of the 19.5MM asphalt. A 1-inch final topping of Recycled Asphalt SP 9.5MM is to be placed throughout the entire site. ALL MILLINGS MUST BE RETURNED TO THE CITY OF TEMPLE PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT AT 155 MONTGOMERY STREET TEMPLE, GA 30179. For identification purposes: Webster Lake Subdivision is located at the end of Old Bremen Rd in Temple, GA. Arbor Landing includes the following scope of work. The total linear footage of the FINAL TOPPING is 1,950 linear feet with an average width of 24 feet. There are 4 cul-de-sacs with an average radius of 40 feet. This site can be seen by reviewing plans for this subdivision, q-public, Google Earth, or through on-site observation. Patching is required at various locations throughout this site and includes the installation of Recycled Asphalt SP 19MM Binder at a minimum of 2 inches in thickness, include the milling in the cost of the 19.5MM asphalt. For identification purposes: Lakeland Park Subdivision is located off Bar J Road. The undersigned bidder hereby declares that he has carefully examined the information contained herein. All prices must include labor, materials, and equipment to complete the project. Factors in the City Council's selection of the company to perform this work will include the price, scope of work in repairing and then resurfacing these streets, and the timeline for completing the work.
