The Contra Costa Transportation Authority (CCTA) is seeking proposals for the "Bicycle and Pedestrian Safety Improvements to Improve Equity Countywide in Contra Costa" Project (Project). The Project is comprised of five (5) independent Subprojects at various locations in Contra Costa County: Subproject Sponsoring Agency San Francisco Bay Trail Gap Closure-Martinez Intermodal Station to Crockett East Bay Regional Park District Richmond Street Complete Streets Improvement City of El Cerrito Moraga Road and Canyon Road Complete Streets Improvement Town of Moraga L Street Pathway to Transit City of Antioch Antioch Bike Garden City of Antioch This Project is funded by various local, state and federal fund sources, most notably Safe Streets and Roads for All (SS4A) federal grant. CCTA, as recipient of the SS4A grant, is working cooperatively with each Sponsoring Agency to deliver their Subproject. The selected Consultant will support this effort by providing Environmental and Engineering Services (including Right of Way engineering and Design support for advertisement, award, and construction administration services). The Sponsoring Agency will serve as Lead agency for California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) for their respective Subproject. The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will be the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) Lead Agency for all Subprojects. The proposer will be required to comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. See accompanying RFP specifications for a detailed description of the scope of services, status of each Subproject and other important information for submitting proposals for this Project. As part of the RFP, proposers may submit proposals for one or all five projects. Multiple contracts may be awarded to the same proposer resulting in a minimum of one contract or a maximum of five contracts.
