Lumpkin County reserves the right to issue written addenda to any inquiries that alter the scope of the RFP. Addenda shall be posted to the county website under the Bids & Solicitations tab no later than 5:00 PM, November 8, 2023. A signed copy of any addenda shall accompany submitted proposals. Contractors are advised to check the website for addenda before submitting their proposals. Scope of Work The Lumpkin County Board of Commissioners is Seeking a Qualified Firm to Install Landscaping at the Pinetree Way Roundabout According to the Provided Landscape Plan. Notes: o All Plant Material Shall Conform to the Current Version of the American Standard For Nursery Stock Published by the American Nursery and Landscape Association. o All Plants Shall Be Healthy, Vigorous Specimens Free of All Pests and Disease. o All Plants Are Subject to the Approval of the Owner Before, During and After Installation. o Immediately Soak New Plantings With Water. o All Utilities Shall Be Field Verified Prior to Digging Operations. o Contractor Shall Be Responsible for His Own Takeoff Quantities and Report Any Discrepancies to the Designer. o All Plant Beds Shall Be Mulched With a Minimum of 3" of Clean Fresh Pine Straw or Mulch of Owner's Choice. o Planting Mix: 3 Parts Topsoil, 1 Part Coarse Sand, 1 Part Peat Moss or Approved Substitute. Plant and Material List is Available on the Landscape Plan Included in the Rfp Documents. Zoysia Sod Has Been Selected as the Sod Type Where Indicated on the Landscape Plan. Multi Color Egg Rock Has Been Selected to Replace the New England River Skippers Due to Supply Issues. Lighting Has Also Been Requested but Was Not Included on the Original Landscape Plan. The Requested Type is Sollos Landscape Lightning Flood Light Fixture Frf057-ab.
