The Nisqually Tribe plans to issue a construction contract for furnishing all labor, equipment, and supervision necessary to construct the following utility and roadway improvements: o Approximately 3,100 linear feet of 8-inch diameter gravity sewer and appurtenances along Elders Lane SE and near Elders Loop SE; o Approximately 1,000 linear feet of 12-inch-diameter water main along Elders Lane and near Elders Loop SE, and 810 linear feet of 8-inch diameter water main along Elders Lane SE; and o Realignment of a portion of Elders Loop SE, widening of approximately 1,000 linear feet of Elders Lane SE, and constructing approximately 260 LF of new roadway on Elders Loop SE. o Approximately 1,750 linear feet of 8-inch diameter gravity sewer and appurtenances along Nisqually Drive SE and She-Nah-Num Drive SE; All utility and roadway work includes demolition, clearing, traffic control, connections to existing systems, testing, surface restoration, and other items as described in the contract documents. Estimated Construction Cost: $3.2-$3.5 Million Performance Time: 180 Calendar Days No pre-bid meeting will be conducted for this project. The site is available for examination from 8:00 am through 5:00 pm Monday through Friday. All parties interested in bidding are strongly encouraged to examine the site. The intent of the Nisqually Tribe is to award the project to the lowest responsive bidder, but with preference given in the following order: 1) Nisqually-owned businesses, 2) Indian-owned businesses, or 3) non-Indian-owned businesses that include Indian-owned business participation. The Tribe reserves the right to award the project to other than the low bidder based upon preference stated above, as further detailed in the Instructions to Bidders, and to reject offers that are determined by the Tribe to be nonresponsive or that exceed the available project budget. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
