The City of Chico requests qualifications from experienced consultants to provide as-needed Professional Engineering Services. The City of Chico Public Works Department - Engineering is seeking up to three (3) qualified on-call professional engineering firms to assist in the design, construction, maintenance, rehabilitation, and replacement of its sewer collection and treatment system. In general, the scope of work to be performed will include professional engineering services related to: o Sewer Collection System & Water Pollution Control Plant (WPCP) o Design, Modeling, Assessment, Planning, and Construction Management Support o Sewer Lift Station Design and Optimization o WPCP and Sewer Collection System Modeling o Recycled Water Planning and Design o Environmental and Regulatory Permitting Support o Public Outreach and Stakeholder Engagement Deadline for Final Questions .....................................(no later than) 4:00 PM on November 15, 2023 All inquiries regarding this RFQ must be submitted through online Your submittal package shall include the following: o One (1) original and three (3) printed copies of your SOQ; and o One (1) electronic copy of your SOQ in PDF format on flash drive or other electronic media; and o Two (2) copies of your Cost Proposal in a separate, sealed envelope or package. The City reserves the right to waive minor defects and/or irregularities in SOQs and shall be the sole judge of the materiality of any such defect or irregularity.
