Project Description: Renovations and Additions to Pewamo-Westphalia Middle/High School: Renovations include upgrades to the HVAC systems. Classrooms, Library, Gymnasium and additional areas will receive new units with air conditioning. The existing steam system will be replaced with natural gas boilers, air-handlers, chiller and new exhaust and relief fans. Lights will be upgraded to LED. Other architectural upgrades include new ceilings, casework, flooring, windows, lockers and doors. Restrooms will be updated to meet ADA requirements. An extended cafeteria addition will be constructed. Renovations and Additions to Pewamo-Westphalia Elementary School: Renovations include upgrades to the HVAC systems. Classrooms will receive vertical units with air conditioning and new ceilings. The existing steam systems will be replaced with natural gas boilers, rooftop unit, chiller, pumps and piping. Lights will be upgraded to LED. Other Architectural upgrades will include ceilings, windows, flooring and painting. The existing restrooms will also be updated with high efficiency fixtures. The building addition will include classrooms, media center, special ed room, offices and restrooms. Bid Requirements: Each bid must be accompanied by the following Sworn and notarized Familial Relationship Disclosure Affidavit. Sworn and notarized Iran Economic Sanctions Act Affidavit. A Bid Bond in the amount of 5% of the total bid is required. Tentative Schedule: Anticipated award of contract: Winter 2023 Construction Start Date: Spring 2024 Project Final Completion: August 2025 Note: This is the SUBCONTRACTOR Advertisement intentionally removes some select HVAC and Electrical components and allows the School District or Performance Services to directly purchase some of the main materials for this project. The Material Only Advertisement can also be provided to subcontractors upon request. Within the Scope Definitions you will find which equipment shall be omitted from subcontractor pricing. Award Procedure: All valid bid submissions meeting the required criteria will be compiled by Performance Services and presented to the School Board for review. The School Board may accept or reject any and all bids as to best fit the School's interests. Performance Services will then notify the bidders selected by the School Board of the award and will issue contracts directly with PSI.
