The City of Santa Barbara (City) is requesting bids from Service Providers to improve and install fencing along Mission Creek and Laguna Channel. The City is interested in preventing access to these areas for the protection of water quality, human health, and wildlife habitat. Mission Creek in the downtown corridor and Laguna Channel are regularly accessed by many people. Items frequently found in the creek and on its banks are human feces, trash, drug paraphernalia, bikes, and encampments. Estimated Bid Value $265,528.00 Pre-Bid Meeting No Project Duration 120 Calendar Days Bidders are hereby notified that a Payment Bond in the amount of 100% of the bid total will be required from the successful bidder for bids exceeding $25,000. In accordance with California Public Contracting Code 3300, the City requires the Contractor to possess a valid California C-13 Fencing contractor s license at time the bids are opened and to continue to hold during the term of the contract all licenses and certifications required to perform the work specified herein. The City of Santa Barbara reserves the right to reject any or all bids or any part thereof, or to accept any bid or any part thereof, or to waive any informality in any bid, deemed to be in the best interest of the City of Santa Barbara.
