The Project includes the following Work: Furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment required to clean and televise approximately 37,867 linear feet of 8", 10", 12" and 16" sanitary sewers, including any bypass pumping and/or traffic control that may be necessary to perform the work. The inspection and completion of manhole forms for each manhole at the upstream or downstream end of each segment of sanitary sewer that is televised will also be required. The work shall be completed in accordance with the specifications and included plans covering the work. Additional Services will be included, after approval, also in accordance with the specifications. Bidders must secure their information as to the condition of the site and all local conditions affecting the work prior to submitting their proposals. Bidders are notified that the price bid must include everything as described in the specifications and shown on the drawings. No extra of any kind will be allowed unless ordered in writing by the Owner. The Contract for this project is subject to "An Act regulating wages of laborers, mechanics and other workers employed in any public works by the State, County, City or any public body or any political subdivision or by anyone under contract for public works", approved June 26, 1941, as amended, being Section 820 ILCS 130/1-12 Illinois Compiled Statutes Any contract awarded under this Invitation for Bids will require performance and payment bonds in the amount of 100% of the contract price.
