Description of work: This project will entail the removal of the existing traffic signal and illumination system and the construction of a single-lane roundabout with a new illumination system and pedestrian facilities. Primary bid items: Roadway Excavation (Incl. Haul); Crushed Surfacing Base Course; Ballast; HMA Cl. 3/8 In. PG 64-22; HMA Cl. 1/2 In. PG 58H-22; Topsoil Type A; Class IV Reinf. Conc. Storm Sewer Pipe 36 In. Diam.; Cement Conc. Traffic Curb and Gutter; Roundabout Cement Concrete Curb and Gutter - Type 2, Illumination / ITS System and Traffic Control. Bids submitted by FAX or email will not be accepted. Each bid proposal must be accompanied by a bid deposit in the form of a certified check, cashier's check, or proposal bond in an amount of at least five percent (5%) of the total bid. Should the successful bidder fail to enter into a contract and furnish a satisfactory contract bond, the bid deposit shall be forfeited to Clark County.
