The Board reserves the right to waive any irregularities or informalities in any bid or in the bidding and to make an award on a contract in the best interest of the City. All work shall be performed in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Contract Agreement for the Emergency PQOC Geotechnical/Structural Construction Services Projects for Public Works (Contract) and shall conform to the Bureau's Master General Conditions, Master General Requirements, and the Standard Specifications for Public Works Construction "Green Book" (Parts 2 thru 6) 2012, 2014, 2017, and 2021 Editions, and the "Brown Book" May 4, 2022 Edition A "Bid Bond" is not required for this project. The successful bidder shall provide two good and sufficient surety bonds. These conditions of damaged streets during rain events are a threat to public safety. The implementation of erosion control measures will assist in safe passage to pedestrians and use of roadway, as well as to reduce further deterioration of the damage. The work will consist of the placement of sandbags, installation of asphalt concrete (AC) berm, AC paving, construction of pipe and board structures, and removal and haul away of soil, rock, weathered bedrock, and construction debris.
