The City of Pleasanton seeks to engage an engineering firm experienced in the study and design of municipal wastewater systems. The firm must be experienced, and capable of developing design documents and providing construction phase services to upgrade the City of Pleasanton WWTP (Wastewater Treatment Plant) . For the purpose of this SOQ, "Respondent" refers to any entity or team that is qualified to provide all the design phase and construction phase services listed in this request. It is the intent of Owner to select the most qualified Respondent(s) The City of Pleasanton reserves the right to reject any or all responses, to waive any or all formalities or technicalities, and to negotiate and enter into a contract with any, all, or none of the respondents, and to continue to contract with such firm(s) beyond the scope of initial contract(s) entered into as a result of this SOQ. The deadline for submitting questions is 12:00 pm CT, October 30, 2023. Questions should be submitted by email and addressed to David Alviso via email dalviso@pleasantontx.gov. Answers to questions shall be made public by addenda to be posted on the Citys website by the end of business on November 1, 2023. The selected firm must have the following capabilities: 1. Assist with Texas Water Development Boad (TWDB) funding applications which may include but is not limited to the Project Information Form (PIF) and Financial Application. 2. Analysis and assessment of Owner's facilities to determine deficiencies and needs 3. Development of scope of work for Owner's consideration 4. Design and Engineering of approved projects 5. Services during construction of the approved projects 6. Commissioning of the installed systems
