Two Phase Selection Process: This is the first phase (Phase One) of a two-phase competition. The first phase will evaluate the qualifications of all bidders. The second phase, (Phase Two), will invite the qualified bidders to provide a financial bid on the project based on the specifications and drawings. Upon award of a contract in Phase Two, the pre-qualification list resulting from the first phase will expire and will not be used in any other solicitation. Work Description: To engage the services of a contractor with the expertise and resources to provide design and construction of suitable foundation and guy anchors for tilting-pole anemometer towers located at Kindakun Rocks (AUT) 53.315600 -132.772000 The Meteorological Service of Canada tilting-pole anemometer tower (tilt-pole) is designated to expose the anemometer to conditions 10m above the surrounding surface and yet easily tilt down so that the sensors can be service by a technician standing on the ground. SCOPE OF WORK 1. Geotechnical Assessment. 2. Detailed engineered foundation drawing specific to site. 3. Install Anemometer Tower foundation and anchors. To assist with bonding and insurance requirements, this project is estimated to cost approximately between $100,000.00 and $150,000.00 (taxes excluded).
