The outer two of the five sections of the bank of bleachers are 17' 2" in length each; the 3 sets in the center are 16' each. Total length is 82' 4", which is in a space that is wall to wall setting. There are 9 rows of seats with each bleacher set. Please provide a manufacturer's submittal with your bid on their recommended number of sections for the limited space available for the motor-driven style bleachers and the electrical requirements. Discovery School presently has two banks of manual bleachers. There are 5 sections per bank on each side of the gym. Each section is 15' 11" in length, with a total of 79' 7" for one bank of bleachers (per wall side). The total of bleachers in place is 160' 2" in length. There are a total of 5 rows of seats per side. There is no limited space for the bleachers to have to fit in between two walls at Discovery. Please provide a manufacturer's submittal with your bid on their recommended number of sections for the space available for the motor-driven style bleachers and the electrical requirements. Bleacher Requirements: o Self-storing, powder-coated black end rails on both ends. o Non-slip strips on steps with center aisle stainless steel P-Rail. o Must meet current ADA standards for indoor sports activities for the public, which includes but is not limited to: unobstructed designated wheelchair spaces with total number of spaces based on companion seating, accessible routes, proper ramps, signs, and access steps with handrails placed accordingly in each section of steps for public access to prevent climbing from row to row. o Bleachers must be attached to the wall. o Owner to provide electrical needs per submittals supplied by approved vendor/manufacturer. o Access panels need to be incorporated in the footboards to give access for undercarriage service. o Colors to be determined at a later date by Owner. o Contoured seating is to be module style, interlocking scratch-resistant, high-density polyethylene plastic with seat numbered plates. o Approved bidder to provide all required equipment and labor necessary to furnish and install the specified bleacher systems. o Bidders are responsible for all field measurements for the new bleacher systems.
