The City of Pflugerville is soliciting Competitive Sealed Proposals for furnishing of all labor, material, tools and equipment, and performing of all work required for the Neighborhood Street Reconstruction Package 1B Project. The Project includes approximately 63,800 square-yards of pavement rehabilitation for twenty-three (23) roads in the Saxony and Willow Creek Section One Subdivisions. The Project work includes base repair, resurfacing, curbing, curb ramps, traffic control, pavement markings, signs, and other required roadway rehabilitation- and reconstruction-related items. Package 1B Street Reconstruction Project, which consists of approximately 63,800 square-yards of pavement rehabilitation for twenty-three (23) roads in the Saxony and Willow Creek Section One subdivisions. The deadline to ask questions is 11/10/2023 12:00 PM CST. The City of Pflugerville reserves the rights to reject any and all proposals and to waive any informalities in proposals received; to eliminate a portion of the work or add additional work as required to keep the total contract amount within the funds budgeted; the right to award any parts or combination of parts of the project it deems necessary; and any other rights established under the laws of the State of Texas. Proposals must be submitted on the Proposal forms provided and must be accompanied by a Bid Bond in a penal sum of not less than five percent (5%) of the total Contract Price proposed. The security may be in the form of a Bid Bond furnished by a reliable surety company having authority under the laws of Texas to write surety bonds in the amount required, with such security made payable without recourse to the City. The final Notice of Award of Contract will be issued to the successful bidder by the City within sixty (60) days following the opening of bids and no bidder may withdraw a bid within sixty (60) days after opening thereof. The successful Offeror must furnish a Performance Bond and Payment Bond on the forms provided, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount, from a surety company authorized by the State of Texas to act as surety.
