The project includes the reconstruction of approximately 5,200 LF of 20 feet wide HMAC pavement, with drainage improvements, approximately 5,050 LF of 6-inch waterline and appurtenances, 200 LF of 6-inch waterline installed by horizontal directional drilling, approximately 1,565 LF of 8-inch sanitary sewer extension with five manholes, and a new packaged grinder lift station, electrical service, and fencing. The deadline to ask questions is 11/14/2023 12:00 PM CST. Bidders must submit a Bid Bond in the amount of five percent (5%) issued by an acceptable surety, submitted with each Bid. A certified check or bank draft payable to the order of the CITY OF INGLESIDE, may be submitted in lieu of the Bid Bond. This is required as a guarantee that the bidder will enter into a contract within ten (10) days after Notice of Award of contract to him or her. Bids may be held for a period not exceeding sixty (60) days for the purpose of review of the Bids and investigating the Bidders' qualifications. The CITY OF INGLESIDE reserves the right to reject any or all Bids or to waive any informalities in the Bidding, and to award (in the opinion of the Owner) to the best responsible Bidder. METHOD OF AWARD: The OWNER shall award the contract based on the lowest responsible bid for which funds are available, including all alternates if necessary, submitted by a responsive and responsible Bidder who has satisfactorily demonstrated his or her ability to complete the project. The OWNER reserves the right to negotiate with the successful bidder to modify scope of work and bid price. The OWNER reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, to waive any and all informalities, to disregard all nonconforming, non-responsive or conditional Bids.
