General Contract for Phase 3 Field Upgrades Site Development Plans for Aaron Cohn Middle School, Double Churches Middle School, & Blackmon Road Ms Field Renovations, Muscogee County School District, Columbus, Georgia. Project scheduling, coordination requirements, and questions of interpretation will be addressed at this time. All contractor's questions shall be sent electronically to columbus@emc-eng.com no later than 2:00 PM on Wednesday, November 15, 2023 and the last date an addendum will be issued is November 16, 2023 by 4:00 p.m. All proposals must be on a lump sum basis; no segregated proposal will be accepted. All prospective bidders will be required to have on file with the Owner, fifteen (15) days prior to bid date, an executed "Contractor's Qualification Statement", AIA Document A305, latest edition. Qualification Statement shall have been updated within the last six months. If not, contractor shall submit updated statement to the Owner no later than fifteen days prior to bid date. Send Qualification Statement attention: Director of Construction. No bids may be withdrawn for a period of forty-five (45) days after the time and date of opening of bids. Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Bond in an amount not less than 5% of the Base Bid. Bids must be submitted on the proposal forms as indicated in the specifications. Performance and Payment Bonds will be required by the successful bidder in the full amount of the Contract Sum. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive technicalities and formalities in the bidding.
