Work on this project will commence on or before Feb 1, 2024 and be completed by June 1, 2024. The work included in this project includes all equipment and manpower for both Part A and Part B of this contract. Part A is located in the City Glenn Chamberlin Park at 10260 Ravenna Road and is intended to provide ADA access to the amphitheater patrons and is partially funded by ODNR grant C725E2. Part A consists Demo of existing Timber Bridge, rerouting of existing timber walkway, 84 ft of 30 HDPE culvert and structures, placing fill material generated from PART B of this project, grading and paving of new ADA asphalt and concrete paths and modifying/removing existing asphalt paths, seeding and sodding as indicated on plans prepared by the City of Twinsburg Engineering Dept. Part B is located in the City Liberty Park active recreation at 9375 Liberty Road and is a modification of an existing pond to provide water quality and generate burrow for PART A. Part B consists of excavation, grading, drainage and storm sewer; fence, path restoration, seeding and mulch, to construct the water quality basin as shown on plans provided by Weber Engineering. Proposal must contain the full name of every person, firm or corporation interested in the bid and be accompanied by a surety bond, certified check or cashiers check on a solvent bank in the sum equal to ten percent (10%) of amount bid, payable to the City of Twinsburg as a guarantee that if the bid is accepted, a contract will be entered into and its performance properly secured. Begin Project Date: February 1, 2024 Project Completion Date: June 1, 2024 Engineer's Base Bid Estimate: $554,000 QA Deadline 11/02/2023 04:00 PM CDT The right is reserved by the City of Twinsburg to reject any and all bids.
