Madison County is soliciting bids from qualified vendors to provide playground and bench installation for Worley Park, located in Madison County District 3. All questions should be directed in writing to Jennie Weatherly at jweatherly@madisoncountyal.gov. The project consists of installing playground equipment and benches at Worley Park located at 123 Walnut Street, New Hope, AL. B. PROJECT SCOPE 1. The project scope of work involves furnishing all required labor, tools, parts, supplies, permits, and supervision necessary to install playground equipment and benches at Worley Park per the attached specifications and drawings. 2. Playground equipment and benches are being purchased by the Owner, independent of this Bid. 3. Installation is expected to be in December 2023 or January 2024, depending on the arrival of equipment. C. EQUIPMENT TO BE INSTALLED 1. GameTime Makalu, Product Line: Altus, Model #PS21201 (see attached specification sheet) 2. GameTime Modern City V Series, Model # MCV1RI (see attached specification sheet) 3. Two (2) GameTime Site Sway Benches, Part #28028 (see attached specification sheet) 4. Two (2) GameTime Site - S700 S 6" Steel Horizontal Slat Without Back Bench - Inground, Part #S716I D. GENERAL REQUIREMENTS 1. Each bidder shall examine the project site, taking into consideration all conditions that may affect this work. No allowances will be made if Bidder fails to adequately examine the location before submitting a bid. 2. The Contractor is responsible for communicating with the Madison County District 3 Foreman prior to installation of playground equipment or benches to ensure proper installation, per the specifications.
