New Hanover County is seeking statements of qualifications from professional engineering firms or consultant teams experienced in conducting and preparing watershed planning studies to prepare a watershed plan for the Pumpkin Creek Watershed in New Hanover County. Questions concerning this solicitation should be directed to Lena Butler, Purchasing Supervisor, by emailing lbutler@nhcgov.com. Please include in the subject line "Questions RFQ # 24-0264 PUMPKIN CREEK WATERSHED PLAN." Questions will be received until Thursday, November 9, 2023, at 3:00 PM EST. An addendum summarizing all questions and answers will be posted to the County's electronically on Thursday, November 16, 2023. Review of Statements Friday, December 8, 2023 Final Selection Friday, December 15, 2023 Contract Awarded and Execution March 2024 The anticipated project timeline shall include the following phases of activity: Consultant Selection December 2023 Contract Executed and Notice to Proceed March 2024 Asset Data Collection February 2025 Asset Condition Assessment May 2025 Hydrologic and Hydraulic Modeling December 2025 Identify Capacity Issues within the Watershed February 2026 Prepare a Watershed Plan July 2026 Provide a Ranking of Recommended Improvements September 2026 New Hanover County reserves the right to accept or reject any or all Statements of Qualifications and to make the award which will be most advantageous to the County.
