All labor, equipment, appliances and materials necessary for Roofs- East, Northpoint Training Center, Department of Corrections, Burgin, Kentucky. Responsible Contractors who have proper experience, equipment and qualifications are invited to bid on this work. These factors will be considered in the Award of Contract and all work will be performed under the standard regulations for construction of the Commonwealth of Kentucky. The project involves re-roof work at the Northpoint Training Center in Burgin, KY. The project is for the Dorms #1-#6, Dorm Connector, Cold Storage, Special Management Unit, Tower #, Tower #4, Southern Region Training Center and Vocational Carpentry Building. The total roof square footage of work is approximately 84,400 sf to be replaced. The existing roof systems are two-ply modified bitumen and asphalt shingle. The new systems are single ply PVC membrane, two-ply SBS modified bitumen, and metal roof systems. The existing roof drains are to be tested for function and reused. All pre-finished metal roof coping caps, flashings, accessories and terminations are to be replaced. Bids will be received from Prime Contractors on a Lump Sum Bid Basis for the total project. All phases of work shall be bid to and through the Prime Contracting Firms. Bids shall be submitted in the manner herein described and on the official bid document form included with the conditions and specifications and shall be subject to all the conditions as set forth and described in the Bid Documents.
