The City of Port Colborne(City) (the Purchaser) is accepting proposals to prepare a study cataloging the location and condition of all its storm outfalls into Lake Erie and the Welland Canal for all storm catchments. The study will provide a cleaning and remedial action plan to determine the best backflow protection available, based on the unique characteristics of each outlet, to protect each area from localized flooding. The consultant shall review all pertinent records pertaining to the storm drain system. This includes the City's Storm Drain Master Plans, applicable GIS layers, storm drain outfall data, as-builts, drainage complaint areas, historic storm drain composite maps. Most of these files are available electronically and will be provided for review.
