Due to this requirement, Santaquin is reissuing a Request for Bids for the Santaquin Main Street Project with the following adjustments: 1. Alternate A: Project completion date: May 31, 2025 2. Alternate B: Project Completion date: May 31, 2025 3. Alternate C: Project Completion date: October 15, 2025 4. Division 1M.1.07 (Page 1M-4): removed "Installation of power, telecommunications, and gas lines is planned for winter of 2023/2024 and will have to be completed prior to roadway construction. Preform project utility work as much as practical during the winter of 2023/2024, prior to roadway construction beginning in early 2024." 5. The following comments from the previous bid are in still in place and inform this rebid: a. Santaquin City will provide Civil3D and CAD files to the awarded Contractor. They are for the Contractor's convenience, are to be used at the Contractor's risk, and their use is subject to the J-U-B Electronic Documents/Data Limited License b. Replace Key Note 20 on the Demolition Roadway and Utility Plans (C-000 series sheets) with, "REMOVE GASE LINE AS REQUIRED (by DOMINION ENERGY)" c. Replace paragraph SC-5.06.B in the Supplementary Conditions with the following: "The existing natural gas line in Main Street owned by Dominion Energy is believed to be asbestos coated. Dominion Energy will remove any gas pipe where it conflicts with project improvements. All steel gas pipe not in conflict with project improvements is to be abandoned in place and should not be disturbed." d. Replace the paragraph in Division 1M.27.2.c with the following: "Dominion Energy will remove their existing 4" and 6" gas lines in Main Street, which are believed to be asbestos coated, where they conflict with project improvements. All steel gas pipe not in conflict with project improvements is to be abandoned in place and should not be disturbed. Santaquin City will be holding a new mandatory pre-bid meeting as indicated on the Advertisement Even if one or more of your representatives attended the original pre-bid meeting, your representative still must attend the upcoming, mandatory pre-bid meeting to be considered as a qualified bidder.
