Project Description/Scope of Work: The purpose of this project is to install Level 2 electric vehicle charging stations (EVCS), two spaces at the Community Pool served by one dual port station and and three spaces at the Fire Station served by one dual port station and one single port station. The work generally consists of hot mix asphalt (HMA) pavement, installation of new electric vehicle charging stations, conduit, pull boxes, and safety bollards, signs and striping. Each Bidder must submit with its bid security in the amount of not less than ten percent (10%) of the aggregate amount of the base bid in one of the following forms: cashier's check made payable to the City, a certified check made payable to the City, or a bidder's bond executed by a corporate surety authorized to engage in such business in the State, made payable to the City. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a payment bond in the amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Price, as well as a faithful performance bond, in the amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Price. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids; to make any awards or any rejections in what it alone considers to be in the best interest of the City, and waive any informalities or minor irregularities in the bids.
