CITY OF BRIDGEPORT REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS ARCHITECTURAL/ENGINEERING SERVICES BID # COX03224B For RENOVATE TO NEW JOHN WINTHROP ELEMENTARY SCHOOL Bridgeport, Connecticut The City of Bridgeport School Building Committee is seeking Consultants to provide architectural and engineering services for the planning, design and construction administration of the renovation of the 89,508 sq. ft. John Winthrop Elementary School. Also included in the project will be a 27,000 sq. ft. addition for the Skane Center. The first phase of construction which includes abatement and demolition activities will begin in June 2025. Review of submissions based on the following Selection Criteria will be used to subsequently select a firm for this project. The following items will be considered during review of submittals by a committee consisting of the Director of Construction Management Services, City Engineer, Director Office of Planning and Economic Development, City Council Member, Board of Education Member and Board of Education Facilities Member.: 1. Specialized Experience and Technical Competence (40 points) 2. Professional Qualifications (40 points) 3. Capacity of the Firm (5 points) 4. Knowledge of the Locality (5 points) 5.
