The Contractor shall provide construction repair of residential streets as planned in Infrastructure Management Plan (IMP) for FY 2024. The Contractor shall provide services which consist of planning, overlay surface improvements, spot 4" flexible pavement repair, ADA improvements, pavement markings, and minor utility adjustments (e.g., water manhole ring and covers, water valve covers, gas valve covers). No major utility improvements are anticipated as necessary with this project. The work will be issued by the City of Corpus Christi's Public Works Department in multiple individual work orders called "Delivery Orders" that provide specific scope and requirements in accordance with the plans, specifications, and contract documents. The project includes one (1) bid set with five (5) separate and equal Base Bids (Base Bid 1 thru Base Bid 5). The City intends to award five (5) separate contracts, each to the lowest responsive-responsible bidder. If the same bidder submits the lowest bid for multiple bids, the bidder must demonstrate sufficient capacity and resources to perform all bids simultaneously in accordance with the Contract Documents. This includes sufficient crews and equipment for each Bid to be considered for award. The City will determine satisfactory capacity, and if the award of multiple Bids to one bidder is in the best interest of the City. If the bidder only qualifies for one bid, the award of the lowest of the multiple bids will be awarded, and the other Bid awarded to the next lowest bidder. The contract will be for an initial one-year duration, with (1) one-year optional renewal. The option to renew will be based on the Director of Engineering Services and the Public Works Departments' determination, the Contractor's successful performance of the work and all Delivery Orders, and concurrence of the Contractor.
