This project is included in the City of Framingham fiscal years 2024-2028 Capital Improvement Program (CIP). As of October 23, 2023, further details regarding design and construction have not been identified. A firm timeline for construction has not been established; however, funding is allotted to fiscal year 2024-2025. A detailed scope has not yet been released. The project will done in 2 phases - the first phase being design and second phase being construction. The roof system at Memorial Building was replaced in 1995. We currently have active leaks. All roof areas suffer from improper roof installation and conduit penetrations. In FY21, a reapplication of the protective roof coating over the auditorium was completed. The roof termination into the masonry parapet walls and flashing will need to be re-installed as the current condition continues to pose a risk of leakage and roof system deterioration. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change.
