Work under Base Bid to include all materials and labor required to demolish the existing General Aviation Terminal including all subgrade foundations, conduits, plumbing, etc. and construct a new approximately 5,088 SF structural steel metal stud, frame, with other finishes consisting of ACT, painting, carpet tile, wall and floor tile, wood doors, plastic laminate casework, solid surface countertops, PVC-KEE HP roof assembly, metal wall and soffit panels, storefront and curtain wall assemblies, exterior painted steel arched structures, and other building materials. Corresponding Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Plumbing, and Electrical Systems will also be included. Work under Alternate Bid #1 to include all labor and materials to install a new 80 mil. PVC-KEE HP roof assembly with polyiso board insulation and flute fillers over the existing roof structure including all steel roof edge modifications as shown in the Construction Documents. Work under Alternate Bid #2 to include all labor and materials to install a new silicone roof coating over the existing roof structure of the adjacent airport hangar as shown in the Construction Documents. Contractor shall be responsible for complying with all rules and regulations of the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Airport Improvement Program (AIP) Buy American Preferences under 49 U.S.C. section 50101 which requires that all steel and manufactured goods used in AIP funded projects be produced in the United States.
