The scope of services shall include, but is not limited to work addressing repairs on concrete on docks at the Berkeley Marina. Faithful Performance Bond in the sum of not less than 100% of the contract, executed on the City of Berkeley Standard Performance Bond Agreement Form. Labor and Material Bond in the sum of not less than 100% of the amount of the contract The Work Shall Reach Substantial Completion Within 120 Calendar Days of the Notice to Proceed Date; and Final Completion Within 180 Days of the Notice to Proceed Date. Liquidated Damages of $500 Per Day Will Be Enforced for Any Days Beyond the 120 Calendar Days PRE-BID CONFERENCE: No Conference Required For questions concerning the listing of items, the anticipated work, or scope of the project, please contact Walter Vandernald, Parks Facilities Maintenance Supervisor, via email at wvandernald@berkeleyca.gov no later than November 3, 2023 by 3:00 P.M. Answers to questions will not be provided by telephone or email. Rather, answers to all questions or any addenda will be posted on the City of Berkeley's site at Bid & Proposal Opportunities.
