2020 Phase III CSO Improvements Project CONTRACT ONE: GENERAL CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT TWO: ELECTRICAL WORK CONTRACT THREE: HVAC/PLUMBING Contract One - General Construction: Installation of a new 2.0 million-gallon precast, prestressed concrete equalization tank. Installation of a new CSO wet weather pumping and screening facility with a peak hydraulic capacity of 15 million gallons per day. Coordination with Electrical and HVAC Contractors. Includes site work, interceptor sewers, and pump discharge forcemain, trenchless sewer construction under a State Highway, various precast concrete vaults and manholes, interior and exterior painting, paving, site fencing, post construction stormwater management, and other miscellaneous work items for a complete and fully operational installation. Contract Two - Electrical Work: Installation of new main switchgear, variable frequency drives, electrical distribution and sub-feed panels, control panels and associated conduit and wire. Location of an incoming power feed to the site and coordination with PennPower (FirstEngergy). Installation of new incoming power feeds to the new pumping and screening facility. Installation of process control systems, SCADA system and process control functions. Coordination with General Construction and HVAC/Plumbing Contractors for connection of new equipment provided under Contracts One and Three. Includes site work, painting of conduit and other miscellaneous work items necessary for a complete and fully operational installation. Contract Three - HVAC/Plumbing Work: Installation of Pump Station HVAC equipment and ductwork, as well as all plumbing (sanitary, natural gas and domestic water) other miscellaneous work items necessary for a complete and fully operational installation Each proposal shall be accompanied by a Bid Bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total bid which will be returned upon award of the Contracts. The Mon Valley Sewage Authority reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and to waive any informality in any bids should it consider same to be in its best interest.
