The City of Clyde is seeking letters of interest from consultants for professional design services in connection with the above-mentioned project on Maple and Race Streets in the City of Clyde, Ohio. This project involves the removal of the unwarranted traffic signal at the intersection of Woodland Avenue and Maple Street. This signal shall be replaced with an All-Way Stop with LED solar edge lit stop signs. The southbound right turn lane shall be removed and the geometries revised to provide shorter and safety enhanced crosswalks for added visibility. ADA curb ramps shall be provided. A solar powered RRFB crosswalk shall be added at Race Street for crossing Maple Street. The unwarranted traffic signal at the intersection of Maple Street and Mulberry Street shall be removed, replacing it with a Two-Way Stop with the side street of Mulberry stopping for Maple Street. A solar powered RRFB crosswalk shall be added on he west side of the intersection that crosses Maple Street. Guardrail on the project shall have the end treatments upgraded to current standards. Finally, the entire length of Race Street and Maple Street from Woodland Avenue to Mulberry Street shall be resurfaced. This project is partially funded thru the Small City and TAP/Safety Grant Programs and the City of Clyde will be the Local Public Agency (LPA) and utilize the "local-let process". The Professional Design Firm (PDF) shall act as the LPA Project Engineer and perform the below referenced services. The intent ofthis scope is that the PDF perform all functions necessary to result in a complete set offorms, schedules, plans, and bid documents that meet ODOT requirements in order to fully complete the improvements. The following list shall not be considered "all-inclusive" but shall be a guide as to the major work components needed. It shall be the PDF's responsibility to provide a complete product that meets ODOT approval for construction. If you have, any additional questions or concerns please feel free to call.
