Reference Number 0000333271 Douglas County ("Owner" or the "County") is issuing this Request for Proposal ("RFP") to solicit commercial and technical proposals ("Proposals") from bidders ("Respondents") for the design, permitting, site preparation and construction of the new Landfill Transfer Station located at 1730 County Services Road, Douglasville, GA 30134 (the "Project"). Capitalized terms in this RFP, if not defined here, are defined in the Agreement (defined below) for the Project. Question Acceptance Deadline 11/02/2023 04:00 PM EDT Questions are submitted online Yes -- All questions regarding this bid shall be in writing and submitted electronically General Requirements - Insurance Required Bonding Requirements - Bid Bond 5 % - Performance Bond 100 % - Labor and Materials Bond 100 % Bids submitted after the designated date and time will be deemed invalid and returned unopened to the bidder. No bid may be withdrawn within ninety (90) days after the bid opening and all bids shall remain firm during this period. *Douglas County reserves the right to waive informalities, to reject any and all bids, to evaluate bids, to accept portions of any bid, and to accept any bid, which in its opinion, may be in the best interest of the County. The County reserves the right to add to or delete from the contract after the contract has been awarded.
