In the event of a delay to the project completion terms as per the Schedule for which Contractor is solely responsible, Contractor shall pay Liquidated Damages to Radnor Township at a rate of $880.00 per day of delay for every day beyond the One Hundred Fifty (150) days allowed for project completion. The Township will not accept bids from any firm/corporation that are currently in litigation with the Township. A bid security in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total bid is required. Bid security shall be in the form of either a Bid Bond issued by a corporate surety approved by the Secretary of Insurance to do business in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, or a certified check or an Irrevocable Letter of Credit issued by a bank licensed to do business in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. The Township Board of Commissioners reserves the right to add or delete portions of work based on budgetary constraints, to waive any informalities and to reject any or all proposals, or parts thereof, for any cause permitted by law, as it deems in the best interest of the Township.
