The Franklin R Sousley VA Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky has a requirement to Improve Site Security - FSC in accordance with the Statement of Work, Project Drawings/Pictures and Project Specification to be provided upon the posting of the solicitation. Work includes prepare site for building operations, including demolition and removal of existing structures, and furnish labor and materials and perform work for Project 596-20-105 Improve Site Security - FSC as required by drawings and specifications. The project is to furnish all labor, tools, materials, and expertise to complete project in strict accordance with the attached statement of work. This is a medical environment, and the contractor shall take into consideration demolition noise, environmental dust control, and specialized facility requirements as a medical environment requires. The hospital shall always remain in continuous operation and any utility interruptions shall be planned and executed as required, to minimize staff or patient disruptions. This will be a 100% set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business concerns under the authority of 38 U.S.C section 8127 (d). NAICS code 236220 Commercial and Institutional Building Construction, is applicable to this requirement. The small business size standard is $45M. The estimated range of construction is Between $500,000.00 and $1,000,000.00. This requirement will be procured in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 15.101 Best value continuum. The solicitation to be posted on or about Friday, 3 November 2023.
