Hanover Green Elementary School Parking Lot Construction. Any contractor who does not do so and submits a bid does so at its own risk. Bid proposals must be on the forms provided by the District. Bid security in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the total bid shall be submitted with each bid in accordance with the instructions to bidders. The District reserves the right to reject any or all bids or portion thereof or to waive informalities in the bidding. Parking lot will be approximately 63' wide X 255' long, crushed modified stone base Cutting in and removal of 10" inches depth earth and stone ledge from parking lot site, offsite disposal Removal of excavated material with bulldozer, excavator and tri-axle haul tucks and disposed of offsite Cutting in and removal of 10" inches depth of earth and stone ledge, to create a connecting driveway 60' long X 30' wide from the Douming intersection to the parking lot area. See attached photo for layout. Removal of30' lineal feet ofexisting chain link fence for driveway opening. Delivery of350 tons, modified crushed stone for parking lot/driveway base, 4" thick. Placement and spreading of 350 tons modified stone. Compaction with roller to 4" thick Excavation into slope for precast step placement. Installation of 13' X 6' concrete slab, 4" thick base and concrete block pedestal base Installation ofprecast step units, 2 units with landing at the midpoint. Installation of 28 lineal feet oftubular metal railing. Slope restoration and grading around steps, seeding.
